Little League Softball Rules

As a chartered entity of Little League International, East Stroudsburg Softball Little League follows the rules set forth by the overarching organization. Annually, Little League® furnishes its affiliated leagues with the latest set of rules, regulations, and policies that elucidate and specify the functioning of the program. It is crucial for all volunteers and parents associated with Little League to acquaint themselves with the most recent edition of Little League’s Official Regulations, Playing Rules, and Operating Policies.

Coaches are provided hard copies of the Rules. A free, electronic version of the most current Rules can be downloaded HERE for Android or iOS.

The Basics of Softball

Whether your player is brand new to the game of softball or has been playing a long time, reviewing The Basics is always helpful. Some of the GOATs (Greatest of All Time) across sports disciplines have shared the importance of returning to the basics of their games.

Little League International has teamed up with Dick's Sporting Goods and created a series of softball videos that review The Basics. You can find them at The Basics hosted by Little League. Enjoy!
